Restorative Medicine is not a specific type of medication, but rather a way of treating the body’s physiology as a whole. Typical medicine will treat each symptom of most conditions with specific medications, which is what we consider multiple modality. Restorative Medicine is singular modality, that is to say, there is one cause behind most bodily breakdowns, and therefore one solution.
But what does Restorative Medicine treat? If you haven’t been to our conditions page yet, you might be surprised, even skeptical, to see the great number of issues evidence shows that Restorative Medicine can help. While we understand skepticism, many of our members have experienced relief for every one of the conditions we’ve listed with the help of our Program.
Treat the cause, not the symptom
For most of us, these conditions developed slowly over time, even though the symptoms may have just recently gotten our attention. While most of us are born healthy with no chronic pain or illness, we all suffer from the same disease: aging. Aging is responsible for many changes in the body over time, beginning in your mid 30’s. The levels and ratios of things like hormones, cholesterol and other body chemistry essentials start to go haywire. It’s these imbalances that result in many of the ‘acquired errors’ in our physiologies as we age. These deficiencies manifest themselves as conditions such as fatigue, migraine, sexual dysfunction and many more.
Put simply, Restorative Medicine seeks to restore the body back to its natural balance of optimal physiology (body chemistry & function). Through this restoration, many seemingly unrelated conditions are treated and their symptoms lessened dramatically. We are treating the cause, age-related errors in physiology, instead of treating the multiple symptoms that come with aging.
Want to know more about us? We publish a weekly newsletter aimed at helping you become healthier, more aware, and more proactive towards your health!
To achieve this, we start with a comprehensive health questionnaire for every member, as well as extensive blood testing to gather deep insight into every member’s unique physiology. Once our science team has had a chance to review and correlate all of your data, they will create a Program specific to your needs. It is then sent to your supervising physician for review & approval, and once approved you formally start on your DzLogic journey.
Life with us is simple. Most of our members average between 8-10 Program elements they take each day, at different times. Aside from making sure to take your Program, we need all of our members to perform at least 2 updates monthly to ensure that they see the results they want. These updates are simple. You tell us how you are feeling, and we adjust your Program if necessary.
